The Mezan Guyana 11 yo 2011 is a molasses rum and comes from the renowned Diamond Distillery in Guyana and was distilled in modern French Savalle stills. This rum is produced without added sugar or colorants and is matured for 3 years in Guyana before being allowed to mature for a further 8 years in Europe in ex-bourbon barrels. This rum specialty was bottled in 2022 at a full 46% vol.

On the nose, the Mezan Guyana 11 yo has elegant aromas of oak and fruit. This is rounded off with gentle vanilla and honey aromas. On the palate, we can also detect some oak, which alternates with dried fruit and sweet vanilla aromas. The finish is soft and long-lasting. The Mezcan Guyana 11 yo is best enjoyed neat.
