The Doorly`s XO Fine Old Barbados Rum was specially selected from barrels which were first stored for 6 to 12 years in bourbon barrels and then this rum received its finish in Oloroso sherry barrels before it was bottled at 43% vol. XO, extra old, so this rum from the Foursquare Rum Distillery is a predicate of the highest art of distillation from one of the best rum distilleries on the market.

The aroma has gentle notes of honey with fruity and nutty accents. On the palate, the ageing in sherry casks is evident and sweet notes of vanilla alternate with dried fruit. Again rounded off with nutty nuances. In the finish, the rum remains a successful palate flatterer that lingers with a long sweetness and fruit. This rum should definitely be enjoyed neat.
