Our Ararat Range

Back then, the Armenian Wine and Vodka Factory Yerevan was founded, which passed into Russian ownership in 1899. The Schustow family brought the distillery to unprecedented size, serving almost 80% of Russia's demand for vodka, wine, and brandy. With the onset of the Soviet Union, the distillery was nationalized. Gagik Zarukjan revived the Yerevan Brandy, Wine, and Vodka Factory Ararat in 2002 in the tradition of the old distillery. He restored the business building of the Russian owners of the predecessor distillery and continues his factory in honor of the Schustow family. Additionally, he contributed to the successful revival of Armenian brandy.
