The third bottling in Torabhaig's Legacy series is Cnoc Na Moine, which means "hill of peat". This single malt whisky matured in ex-bourbon and American oak casks. This bottling also contains Oloroso and PX sherry casks, which add an elegant and sweet note to the peaty whisky. The colour of the Torabhaig has also gained in volume thanks to the sherry casks. Naturally, this whisky is neither chill-filtered nor flavoured. Limited to 90,000 bottles worldwide and at 46% vol, this bottling has plenty of potential.

On the nose, the Cnoc Na Moine from Torabhaig also initially shows clear aromas of peat and smoke. However, these soon change to fruity, sweet, almost vanilla flavours. The peaty and smoky flavours also emerge clearly in the taste, alternating with spicy aromas. Some dried fruit and wood round off the flavour experience. The finish is long-lasting and the peat flavours are now accompanied by easily recognisable sherry aromas. All in all, this whisky is a wonderful companion for the evening and is best enjoyed neat.
