The Macallan Edition 2 is a fusion of Scottish whisky and Spanish sherry notes. During the maturation period, it was stored in former sherry casks, imparting particularly intense and powerful aromas to the single malt. The charred oak barrels created a balance to the sweeter flavor profiles. A blend was created from the contents of seven different oak casks, resulting in a blend whose personality is renowned far beyond the Scottish borders.

The dark golden amber hue suggests prolonged maturation in old wooden casks. The single malt Scotch enchants with a sensual aroma of wood, ginger, vanilla, exotic fruits, apples, and syrup. Upon tasting, the velvety facets give way to expressive profiles of nuts, cloves, chocolate, brown sugar, and pepper. They slowly echo in the warm finish.
For this whisky, serving neat or on the rocks is recommended.
