With this single malt, the Scottish distillery has created a composition with a powerful foundation and harmonious undertones that come together to form a successful masterpiece. Macallan's whisky maker, Steven Bremner, himself a passionate DJ, drew inspiration from music during the creation process.

In Macallan Concept No 2, whisky from ex-bourbon casks meets whisky that matured in former sherry casks. The distillery does not disclose how long these whiskies matured.

The limited Scotch impresses with a sweet-fruity aroma of apple, vanilla pods, and blackberries. Its taste is sweet with notes of toffee, apple, almond, cinnamon, and spicy wood. A fresh citrus note as well as a floral undertone of rose can also be detected. The finish is smooth and lingers for a long time. The Scotch was bottled at 40% ABV and reveals its full flavor when enjoyed neat.
