The Macallan Classic Cut 2020 is the fourth edition of the limited Classic Cut series. This single malt is characterized by a rich, complex character. Part of this bottling was aged in former sherry casks made of European oak, while the other part was matured in ex-bourbon casks made of American oak.

The combination of different cask types lends The Macallan Classic Cut 2020 a sweet lightness that is perfectly complemented by depth and complexity. On the nose, sweet and fruity aromas of vanilla, honey, and orange peel are apparent. The sweet notes blend with the spiciness of the oak and a pleasant warmth of ginger on the palate. The long-lasting finish is also sweet and lively, leaving an intense thyme flavor lingering. With its 55% ABV, The Macallan Classic Cut 2020 is quite robust; it can be enjoyed neat, with a few drops of water, or over ice.
