On the nose, beneath the alcohol, robust aromas of smoke and peat develop, which continue on the palate, accompanied by notes of dried fruits and plums. Overall, the flavor profile here is very rounded.
In the finish, peat is also present, but underscored by warm honey.
The whiskey is enjoyable neat or on the rocks but also lends itself excellently as a base for Manhattan cocktails.
