The Jameson Caskmates IPA with 40% vol. is part of the next generation of whiskey from the John Jameson & Son distillery in Ireland.
With the IPA Edition, the Jameson distillery has given the successful Stout Edition a worthy successor. It follows the same principle: the whiskey, which is initially stored in oak barrels, is taken to a local brewery where it matures further in Irish Pale Ale beer barrels.
This gives it an exceptional flavor.
