While conventional distilleries use column stills, Woodford Reserve employs three pot stills. This results in a triple-distilled whiskey that is exceptionally aromatic.
Chris Morris has been the Master Distiller at Woodford Reserve since 2004, overseeing everything from creating new releases to selecting barrels and crafting the whiskey.
The distillery typically produces in small batches, and you can find batch and bottle numbers on each bottle.
Today, Woodford Reserve is part of the American Brown-Forman Corporation.
