Our Weingut Johann Schwarz Range

The originally trained butcher, Johann Schwarz, founded his winery in 1999 in Andau, near Lake Neusiedl. Before that, he managed his vineyards as a hobby, selling the grapes to his friend Alois Kracher. Out of pure interest, he started vinifying some of the grapes himself in 1992, and this venture was met with great success. Initially supported by Alois Kracher and, after Kracher's passing, by Kracher's sons, he continued his winemaking journey. Read more

    He clearly focuses on producing individualistic and terroir-driven wines. With low yields, meticulous grape selection, and far from oenological traditions, he creates wines that are simply a must-try.
