The unique production process, featuring triple distillation and malt dried in enclosed kilns, gives Tullamore a mild and smooth character. In 2010, the company came under the ownership of William Grant & Sons, and production has been taking place at the new Tullamore DEW Distillery on the outskirts of Tullamore since 2014.
