Andrew Heublein, a German-American entrepreneur from Connecticut, popularized the Canadian whisky liqueur in America.
After Prohibition, Heublein acquired distribution rights for numerous foreign spirits, including Yukon Jack.
Today, the Yukon Jack brand is owned by the Sazerac Company, a globally operating manufacturer of alcoholic beverages. The high-proof liqueur is still produced in Valleyfield in the Canadian province of Quebec.
The bottling process takes place in the neighboring United States.
