Originally produced for the spirits conglomerate Pernod Ricard, Mascarade was later acquired by the American family-owned company Saybrex, becoming part of its international portfolio.
Since then, the brand has been on the rise: in 2006, the aromatic spirit was awarded a Silver Medal in the "Liqueur" category at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Aligned with the theme of mysterious masquerades reflected in Mascarade's logo, the new parent company successfully positioned its new brand as the official cocktail ("MascaRita") for the "Phantom of the Opera" musical in Las Vegas.
