James C. Crow founded the Old Crow distillery in the early 19th century, successfully making his whiskey one of the most successful and highly regarded bourbons in the world.
While the brand is now positioned in the lower price range, it doesn't diminish the taste. Connoisseurs may notice a certain similarity to Jim Beam. In 1987, the distillery was acquired, and the whiskey produced there was adjusted to the Jim Beam recipe.
However, shorter aging processes and a modified blending give Old Crow a unique and pleasantly light flavor.
