The original name, Holladay Distillery, can be traced back to the company's founder, Benjamin J. Holladay. After several changes in ownership and name, the distillery has been operating under the present well-known company name since 1942. However, there has been no relocation at any point. To this day, the distillery remains a privately operated production facility specializing in the crafting and distribution of selected spirits. In addition to numerous blends and bourbons, the McCormick Distilling Company offers vodka, gin, liqueur, Scotch, and tequila for purchase.
