The whisky distillation process is exclusively carried out during the winter months. This responsibility falls to the employees of the neighboring Glenlossie Distillery, which operates only during the summer. The Bardon Burn River provides the distillery with fresh water. Mannochmore is supplied with malt by Burghead Maltings from Elgin. The distillery premises house 15 stills. One is used for mashing, eight are dedicated to fermentation, and the remaining six serve as stills. The original Scottish grain is germinated with steam.
