The distillery is located in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada, and gained international recognition, particularly for its Forty Creek releases. In March 2014, the Forty Creek Distillery was acquired by the Campari Group. The group also acquired the equipment, the existing whiskey range, and the staff. John K. Hall was appointed as Chairman and remains their renowned "Whisky Maker" to this day.
