Initially, Alfred de Luze supplied his brother Louis-Phillip's company in New York and later established several subsidiaries in India, England, and Russia.
During the reign of Napoleon III, the European royal courts were supplied with these fine Cognacs, and in 1927, the company became the official purveyor to the Danish royal household.
The company was acquired by Rémy Martin in 1980 and sold to the Boinaud family in 2006, who have been producing Cognac for 24 generations.
