With up to twelve carefully selected botanicals by Master Ivano Tutti, Bombay Sapphire gins impress with a smooth and complex taste. Founded in 1987, the Bombay Sapphire brand was already part of Bacardi's portfolio a year later. The company's goal was to revive the classic 18th-century recipe for a contemporary and high-quality gin. Even today, the distillation process is based on an original recipe from 1761. The alcohol in Bombay Sapphire is triple-distilled. A copper basket filled with botanicals, suspended above the alcohol, ensures the flavoring (vapor infusion method). The water used comes from Lake Vyrnwy in Wales.
